Plasmapanels represent a revolutionary leap forward in the domain of acoustic control. Addressing the challenges inherent in traditional passive sound treatments and active control methods. Plasmapanels offer deep-subwavelength ultrabroadband performance in a lightweight, fully-customisable design.
Core Technology
At the core of the Plasmapanel lies a patented plasmacoustic metalayer, a specialised component featuring an electrode configuration that produces positively charged ions. Through electrical manipulation of these ions, the Plasmapanel can generate and modulate sound to enhance the surrounding acoustic environment.
Integrated Active Control
Plasmapanels are equipped with an integrated electronic controller that connects to the electrodes operating the plasmacoustic metalayer and microphones embedded within the panel’s front surface. Sound captured by these microphones is relayed to the electronic controller, which in turns applies proprietary software to adjust the signal operating the electrodes to either absorb, reflect, or cancel sound based on the unique requirements of each application.
Enhanced Acoustic Quality
When configured for absorption, Plasmapanels effectively attenuate sound energy, irrespective of its angle of incidence. This capability can be leveraged to remove unwanted background noise and reverberation, enhancing the overall acoustic quality and comfort level of the space in which the panel is deployed.
Customisation & Scalability
Plasmapanels offer a high degree of customisation in terms of their form-factor and dimensions. Their lightweight and streamlined design further enhances ease of deployment. Moreover, they offer versatile configuration and attachment options and can function either independently or within an array to further enhance their performance when operating in large spaces.
